One of the most beloved Bollywood actresses who ruled a million hearts with her stunning looks and charming personality, Sonali Bendre has only emerged stronger and made an impressive comeback after her fight against cancer.
Sonali Bendre started as a model before being selected for 'Stardust Talent Search'. After which, she was invited to Mumbai and trained by the industry's best actors and performers.
Since her debut in 1994, Sonali has appeared in several films and has starred opposite top stars such as Sunjay Dutt, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh.
Sonali was also awarded the "Newcomer of the year" prize in 1995.
She received fame by featuring in the song 'Humma Humma' in the 1995 film 'Bombay' and subsequently cemented her position as a famous actress by appearing in movies like 'Hum Saath Saath Hain', 'Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai', 'Sarfarosh', and 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' to name a few.
Sonali Bendre is also the author of 'The Modern Gurukul: My Experiments with Parenting'.
Unfortunately, the talented actress was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in July 2018. Sonali today is inspiring everyone through her motivational talks, sharing her horrific experience of being diagnosed with cancer and the intense battle she fought to survive it.

Sonali Bendre made her foray into films with ‘Aag’, winning the Filmfare Award for ‘Lux New Face of the Year’ and Star Screen Awards for ‘Most Promising Newcomer’.
She also won the best-supporting actress award for her outstanding work in ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ in 2001. She also won the ‘Beauty Warriors’ in the Vogue Beauty Awards, 2019.
